AkWarm Retrofit Reporter Software Download

The AkWarm Retrofit Reporter software is software that allows for creation of a detailed home improvement report based on the improvement analysis done by AkWarm Energy Rating software. The report is created as a Microsoft Word document and can be further customized by the user after Retrofit Reporter is run.

Software Requirements and Installation

• Your operating system must be Windows XP or Windows Vista. If you are using Windows XP, your installation must have at least Service Pack 2 installed. To install the most recent Windows XP Service pack, go to the Windows XP Service Pack 3 web page.
• This program will run under Windows Vista, even though AkWarm itself will not. A Vista machine running this program will only need to have access to the AkWarm .hom files used to generate the improvement reports.
• You must have Microsoft Word version 2002 (Office XP), 2003, 2007, or later to run this program.
• Click the link near the bottom of the page to download the setup program for the AkWarm Retrofit Reporter software. After clicking the link you may be able to directly "Run" the setup program or you may be forced to save it to your hard drive. If you save it to the hard drive, you should then "Open" the saved file or double-click it to start the installation program.

Important Notes

• For most computers, the installer will first install the Microsfot .Net Framework 3.5, which could take as long as 20 minutes on slow Internet connections. All installations of future releases of the Retrofit Reporter on your same computer will not require this lengthy process and will install quickly.
• After installing the software, you should have an icon on your desktop to run the software or you can find the program in the "AHFC Affordable Housing" program group under the start menu.
• After starting the program, select the "Help, Contents" menu item for a detailed explanation of how to use the program.
